It took us a while to even narrow down the samples we wanted to try, but we finally narrowed it down to a really pretty sea green & golden sun colors.

Now things are going back up on the wall and its starting to look a lot like a home around here.

I have to admit it was somewhat of a selfish gift because I really wanted some great pictures on my parents and I knew Amelia and team would get the job done. Of course Amelia & Justin did not disappoint.

when I looked at Amelia's blog last night and saw these beautiful shots I started to cry. Amelia always does a great job with scenery and lighting, but the way she perfectly captured my parents was breathe-taking.

I probably wouldn't choose to have a lobster themed wedding for myself, but hey I can fully appreciate/respect/adore someone who does it this way.

It's offical, I'm taking a holiday in...

REXBURG

this June.

I NEVER thought I would miss Rexburg as much as I do and I never EVER thought I'd be so excited to be visiting. J was invited by the business department to speak at the Business Summit (a conference for the business students) and because I do miss Rexi so much I'm tagging along.

I must say the real reason I miss rexi so much is my friends though, I mean I have to give credit where credit is due, but regardless I can't say I'm not at least moderately excited to take part in a few Rexburg only traditions. I guess I'm excited because I know at the end of the weekend I'm going back to NYC and I won't have to decide between wingers/subway/hogi yogi every Saturday night.I can actually appreciate what tiny little rexi is. I'm just going to enjoy my sweet Rexburg and the things I love about it most!

yes I know I'm about a week late, but its the thought that counts. I couldn't let Mother's Day, completely go by without blogging about what a wonderful mother I have.

she truly is made up of so much wonderful. I'm pretty sure I'm becoming more and more like her everyday and I think this line is in a movie or something, but its true that she is the voice inside me head. Even when she's not around I know what she would say to me.

not really sure where I'd be without that.

May Days

the thing about being the one who takes all the pictures is, you are never in any! regardless I am committed to document our life and times. april came and went and may is looking pretty good. I can't believe I'm about to be 23. I'm so married and graduated. I must say I'm feeling pretty good. Here's a few shots of our May happenings so far.
